  • Support pub/sub (Pubsubhubbub)

More details are posted on the Managing News project page on Drupal.org.

FAQ

If you have other questions than those answered below, please contact us.

Where do I report bugs?

  • If you know which project is responsible for the bug, please report the bug directly to that project. If you're not sure or you just have a general bug report please use the Managing News issue queue.

How do I contribute?

  • You can submit patches directly to the individual projects that make up Managing News. Many of the projects are also in need of documentation, user testing and volunteers to help answer other users' questions.

Does Managing News work with Internet Explorer 6?

  • Managing News does not work with Internet Explorer 6 and there are no plans to support it in the future.

Does Managing News work with the Drupal module/theme/project X?

  • Maybe. Your mileage will vary when integrating other Drupal projects with Managing News. You are welcome to start tinkering under the hood to suit your needs.

For developers

Where do I check out the HEAD version of Managing News?

  • Since Managing News is a Drupal install profile, there is no single repository from where you can check out all of the code that runs Managing News. You can use the managingnews.make makefile included with Managing News as a guide for checking out the projects you'd like to contribute to.

Why does Managing News use project X?

  • There are many bleeding edge projects driving Managing News (to name a few: Feeds, Data, Features, OpenLayers). Many of these projects were developed in response to the shortcomings of previous approaches found in earlier versions of Managing News. If you're wondering why we use X instead of just doing it with Y, it's probably because we tried to do it with Y and found that it didn't work well.
